I had the privilege of traveling with Nathan into several non-tourist areas in the Chiapas region.   During our time together Nathan guided us into remote villages where we experienced the local culture from a prospective that few have the opportunity to see.  We met unusual and gentle people who warmly accepted us into their villages. We ate indigenous foods and hiked the mountain trails of the region observing the natural beauty and scenic treasure that only Chiapas possesses. We even traded with the locals for beautiful rare hand carved amber jewelry which made for great gifts for loved ones back home. A journey through time which I will never forget. During our trip, we felt completely safe in this primitive environment among people who spoke a local dialect due to Nathan’s unique training, knowledge of the culture and long term relationships with the local leaders in the villages.  My experience was enhanced due to the thoughtful planning with which Mr. Terrell demonstrated.  If you seek adventure in the hands of a trusted guide, Nathan Terrell is your man.
